Our flushing /retriever training program is approximately 3 months in duration. The program will provide you with a dog that will obediently respond to the kennel, here, heel, and sit commands. For our hunt training programs, we strongly believe that successful training requires steady exposure to the type of birds your dog will be hunting. As a result, your dog will be trained regularly and consistently over live birds. It is important to recognize that dogs, like people, learn at different speeds. We see dogs that respond more quickly to our training and others that require more patience and reinforcement. We are always eager to provide and discuss an objective assessment of your dog's progress. We also encourage you to spend a day working with your dog and us at the completion of the training program. This will ensure clarity about commands the dog has learned and encouragement for you to recognize that continual reinforcement is key to keeping your new hunting partner in top form. Up-to-date immunization records must be provided upon arrival. This should include Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), and Influenza.
The training fee for all programs is $1050 a month with the first month in advance and billed every month thereafter.
